Datuk Idris Kechot KUALA LUMPUR: Chemical Company of Malaysia Bhd (CCM) has announced changes in its boardroom, including the resignation of its chairman, Datuk Idris Kechot and non-independent director Amizar Mizuar. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, CCM said Amizar also resigned as the group’s member of Remuneration Committee and member of Nomination Committee. Apart from that, Zainal Abidin Jamal also resigned from his position as CCM chairman of the Risk Committee and non-independent director due to the completion of the proposed divestment of 94.45 million ordinary shares or 56.32 per cent stake in CCM held by Permodalan Nasional Bhd and AmanahRaya Trustees Bhd.The group has appointed Tan Chee Heng, Dr Tunku Alina Raja Muhd Alias and Datuk Lee Hau Hian as its new non-independent directors. - Bernama
